Overview
We are a mission-driven law firm dedicated to representing vulnerable immigrant communities in their path to legal relief in the United States. We are currently seeking a team of Bilingual (Spanish / English) Licensed Staff Attorneys for several opportunities. The Bilingual Staff Attorneys will work on immigration matters, mostly related to prepare and file adjustment of status applications (Form I-485) and represent clients before USCIS and other relevant immigration authorities.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association and a valid license to practice law in Oklahoma, Virginia, California or Texas.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality is required.
Requirements
Licensed (Active Bar License) and in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction. Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia or California licensure is a plus.Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking.Experience practicing law and prior field work experience is preferred3 years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law, is a plus.Strong knowledge of humanitarian immigration relief and Form I-485 procedures.Excellent legal writing and communication skills in English and Spanish proficiency highly valued.Demonstrated commitment to working with vulnerable populations, including survivors of trauma or violence.We Offer
