What you´ll do

The Application Engineering Technician will provide support to the Application Engineering Manager for maintenance of the current product portfolio.

The selected candidate will aid in testing, CCSM projects, as well as conduct specification testing for new opportunities.

This role will also provide data to create technical reports for both internal and external Henkel customers.

There is a component of an on-site representative (OSR) with a minimum of 1 day per week at customer manufacturing facility.

What makes you a good fit

• Minimum an associate's degree in chemistry or business, with some background in metal pre-treatment or adhesive preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience with significant experience in a sales / service function, preferably at a customer site location.
• Must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Strong communication skills both internally and externally.
• Must have strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and meet with customers at Toledo, OH.

Role will be required to work in the office when not traveling.

The salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 . This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
