The Cloud Security Administrator II will implement and adhere to security policies set by Jenzabar's Compliance and Information Security teams, maintain the Rapid7 and CrowdStrike solutions used by Cloud Services, lead incident response efforts, manage vulnerability scans and track remediation tasks, build and monitor SIEM and FIM detections, and manage Identity Protection and Exposure Management solutions.

The Cloud Security Administrator II will provide technical support for third party security services (e.g., forensics, penetration testing), assist with regulatory compliance efforts (SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR), and will research and maintain proficiency in open source and commercial computer exploitation tools, attack techniques, procedures, and trends.

Essential Tasks

  • Follow and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with Jenzabar's Compliance and Information Security team, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Respond to security inquiries from staff, clients, and third parties
  • Collaborative involvement with security assessments and audits of Jenzabar Cloud to identify vulnerabilities and lead remediation actions
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect and respond to potential threats in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and best practices into our systems and applications
  • Actively participate in security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery
  • Liaison between IT, Information Security, Product Development, Legal, Human Resources, and Cloud Services
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture and improve incident detection and response capabilities
  • Maintain security systems relating to vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response (EDR), intrusion detection and prevention, identity and access management, cloud security, deception technologies, etc.
  • Respond to security assessments / audits from customers or business partners
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of cross functional teams, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and make recommendations for proactive security measures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information security related role, or in a development role with a strong background in system experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Vulnerability scanning, Cloud Technologies, SIEM, IDS / IPS, File Integrity Monitoring, Data Loss Prevention, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR) and their implications for information security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify security issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud security principles and practices (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and principles
  • Experience with security incident response and forensic investigations
  • The pay range for this position is $62,000-$79,000 / year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
