Key Job Details – Nevada Nursing Jobs Location : Reno, NV 89502 – Premier Nevada healthcare facility Unit : Medical Surgical Ortho-Spine Unit (38 private beds) Employment Type : Travel RN assignment Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12 hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Holiday Requirements : Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start) BLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in a clinical setting Manage patients undergoing total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical / lumbar / thoracic surgeries, fractures, traumas, limb preservation, wound care, and medical overflow Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Maintain high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center Demonstrate age-specific competencies and provide patient education Participate in unit activities, including floating and picking up additional shifts Experience the best of Reno, Nevada nursing jobs—urban excitement, outdoor recreation, and a supportive healthcare team.
