Overview

Our West Virgina office's are growing, and we're looking for inspectors and field technicians to join our award winning team. As a Construction Field Technician at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll support a diverse, local, community focused project schedule.

As you grow with our team, you'll have access to industry leading mentors along with training, licensing, and continuing education support in order to achieve your long-term goals while being given the opportunity to move up within the company.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt to ensure compliance with project specs.

• Use specialized equipment like nuclear density gauges, penetrometers, and more (we'll train you!).
• Keep equipment clean, calibrated, and ready for action.
• Interact with contractors, engineers, and inspectors as a professional representative of CEC.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Write daily field reports, interpret project drawings / specs, and enter test data.
• Communicate with Project Managers to keep everything running smoothly.

Opened in 2022, CEC Martinsburg was born out of an opportunity to serve the City of Martinsburg and expands CEC's presence in West Virginia. The establishment of the office is a show of our dedication and desire to provide client-focused, high-quality, innovative services to our clients in the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding areas. Our services include all aspects of civil / site engineering, construction inspection, geotechnical engineering, surveying, and water resources.
