Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test in Austin, TX to collaborate with QA and Devs teams to ensure high-quality for web applications and content delivery platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QA and Dev teams to ensure high-quality for web applications and the content delivery platform.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable automation testing frameworks for web applications and backend services using Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, and Java.
• Automate functional, regression, and performance testing for applications.
• Report, track, and verify system defects using JIRA and Grafana.
• Design Jenkins declarative pipelines to integrate automation test suites and schedule nightly builds.
• Automate testing of RESTful APIs using Postman and Rest-Assured.
• Manage test frameworks to enhance efficiency and maintainability, utilizing tools including Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Java, Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Coordinate and collaborate with onshore and offshore engineers to ensure continuous delivery of work and adherence to processes.
• Monitor system logs using observability and monitoring tools including AWS CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Coordinate release regression testing and perform post-production validations to ensure application stability.
• Utilize Git for version control and conduct thorough code reviews for pull requests (PRs), ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
• Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Qualifications

Salary range : $187,000.00 – $228,700.00 / year
