ER RN Job Details – Pennsylvania Travel Nursing

Location : McConnellsburg, PA 17233 – Located in scenic Fulton County, central Pennsylvania, near outdoor recreation and beautiful landscapes.

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Unit : Emergency Room (ER), Level IV Trauma Center

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6 : 45 pm – 6 : 45 am)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Call Requirement : No call

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780 - $1910 per week

First-time travel nurses welcome!

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA

Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Strong clinical skills and adaptability in a busy ER setting

PA fingerprinting and Childline Abuse Clearance required

Department of Aging fingerprints required for non-PA residents (past 2 years)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a rural emergency room averaging 30 visits per day

Assess, triage, and manage patients in a Level IV trauma center

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately and efficiently document patient care

Float to other hospital units as needed

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and Pennsylvania state nursing regulations
