Duties
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including strategy development, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Provide clear, strategic legal guidance to clients throughout the litigation process
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
- Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff, including paralegals and law clerks
- Ensure adherence to court deadlines and procedural requirements
- Formulate and execute case strategies that align with client goals
Requirements
Active membership in the California State BarMinimum of 1–2 years of litigation experience, preferably in habitability or landlord-tenant lawAbility to manage multiple active cases independentlyStrong time management and organizational skillsEducation
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
California State Bar admission in good standing (required)
