Restaurant Server-Bartender
Our popular restaurant is searching for servers and bartenders with a welcoming smile and a positive customer service attitude to set the tone for our visitors' dining experience. In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Your earning potential, including tips and benefits, typically will vary between $20 and $40 per hour depending upon the shift, and staff on the floor.
Your base wage is between $11.40 and $14 per hour. Plus :
- We have FOH tip sharing in place and tips are shared equally between FOH staff to foster team work
- Colorado Mandated Sick Leave
- 401(k) Participation (Employer match kicks in after 1 year)
Compensation : $20 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities :
Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activitiesAccept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakesDevelop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendationsSetup tables and place settingsDeliver a great customer experience by making every guest feel welcomeGreet customers, serve orders promptly and accommodate any special needs or requestsPrepare and pour all alcoholic drinks in the absence of a bartenderUse POS system to take food and beverage orders from diners, apply specials and discounts, accept various forms of payments, adjust tickets, perform refunds, and sign up customers for a loyalty programIf needed, Expedite and Deliver food and drinks to tablesLearn how to accurately prepare, present and describe complete beverage menu to the customersAssist with adding seasonal beverage specials to the menu and accurately prepare, present and describe them to the customersCheck Voicemails, answer phone calls and seat guestsKeep tables and floors clean before, during and after serviceKeep bathrooms stocked and clean before, during, and after servicePerform all opening duties, closing duties, and side work / projectsQualifications :
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkersThis role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer servicePossess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)Displays impeccable time management and organizational skillsWe prefer some experience working in the food service industryYou must be TIPS certifiedAbout Company
