Job Description Quality Inspector to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products and production procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential. Requirements 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry or strong transferable skills from prior roles. . Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Excellent manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination No visual impairment that would affect color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust and focus. No restrictions preventing the ability to lift and / or move up to 35 pounds. Able to support and cross train between departments as business needs required Uses AWS Scheduling (Alternate Work Schedule) Schedule : Week 1- 3 days 12 hour shift, Week 2- 4 Day 12 hour shift Time : 7am to 7pm List of job requirements.Duties & Responsibilities Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing them to specifications, etc.). Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day. Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards. Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn't meet requirements. Perform rework on parts that do not meet quality specifications, including minor repairs and adjustments to ensure conformity. Utilize tools such as heat guns and other hand tools to aid in rework or assembly processes as required. Visually inspect parts for color consistency, surface finish, and paint quality; requires precise hand-eye coordination and ability to analyze subtle differences in color and texture. Perform touch-up painting using water-based Skills / Abilities Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach Thorough knowledge of quality control Working knowledge of MS Office
