A well-established Los Angeles, California personal injury firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney to take charge of high-value cases and lead a dedicated pre-litigation team. This role focuses on moving cases efficiently through pre-litigation, shaping case strategies, overseeing settlements, and ensuring seamless client communication. The attorney will manage multiple case manager teams, provide direction on complex files, and act as the primary decision-maker for case progress. The ideal candidate is a plaintiff-side attorney with extensive personal injury experience, strong leadership ability, and a proven track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
Salary Range : $150,000 - $200,000 / year DOE
Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney Responsibilities
- Oversee all pre-litigation case progress and ensure timely resolution
- Guide and review high-value case strategies and settlement negotiations
- Communicate with clients regarding complex settlement matters
- Supervise and mentor multiple case manager teams with four direct reports
- Review and approve reduction requests on settlements
- Collaborate with litigation attorneys for smooth case handoffs
- Maintain quality standards across all casework
- Act as the HR contact for the pre-litigation team
