Position Description :

Every great life-changing discovery begins the same way-with new knowledge. It can change everything, from a single life to the future of entire communities. That's why academic medicine, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge, is at the center of everything we do at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW).

MCW's Center for Disease Prevention Research (CDPR) is seeking a Registered Dietitian with culinary teaching experience and an interest in lifestyle medicine, disease prevention, and community engagement. The primary responsibility will be to prepare for and deliver interactive cooking classes using a licensed culinary medicine curriculum for medical students.

Participation in this role will also include covered training toward the Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist (CCMS) credential through the American College of Culinary Medicine . Duties may broaden over time to include delivery of additional courses, community engagement, and support for program development and communications.

  • Participate in required curriculum training and CCMS certification coursework prior to course delivery.
  • Attend CDPR team meetings as needed and collaborate with CDPR leadership and medical school faculty to align teaching activities with course objectives .
