Overview

As part of the Certification Team, the Certification Engineer is responsible for all airworthiness tasks related to the activities and products delivered by the Customer Service business. This covers customer requested in-service repairs and optional upgrades for all Airbus commercial aircraft programs and a wide range of system and operational subjects.

Your working environment : The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct the airworthiness approvals of Airbus products and product changes with the certificating Authority, and validation of these approvals by the importing countries' Authorities.

Perform airworthiness approvals in accordance with Airbus Design Organization Approval (DOA) privileges :

Act as an interface to Airworthiness authorities for all aspects of certification activities.

Support acceptance of individual aircraft by customers and their local authorities.
