Role Snapshot

Join our Louisville, KY team keeping products moving smoothly from dock to door. As a Distribution Center Material Handler, you’ll help receive goods, organize inventory, and prepare precise shipments in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

A Day in the Life

Start your shift by reviewing inbound schedules, then team up to unload trailers and verify contents. You’ll stow items in the right bin locations, use basic computer tools or scanners to track inventory, and switch gears to pick customer orders with accuracy. You’ll build and pack shipments, stage pallets, and keep aisles clear so everyone can work efficiently. Throughout the day, you’ll communicate with teammates, operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely, and follow established procedures to meet daily goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Unload, verify, and put away incoming materials to proper storage areas.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for on-time shipment.
  • Use warehouse tools and systems (including basic computer input) to track items.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided as needed).
  • Assist with inventory control tasks, including routine cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily operational targets.

What You’ll Bring

  • Warehouse experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on, physical work.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and simple reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Schedule flexibility, including potential weekend shifts as needed.
  • Why It Matters

Your attention to detail keeps customers satisfied and operations running smoothly. If you enjoy staying active, working with a supportive crew, and seeing the results of your effort every day, this role is a great fit.
