$420 to $430 per hour

About The Position

The coverage is an 8 hour day, generally anywhere between 8a-4p with evening call 4p-8a, and 24 hour call on the weekends (5 hours gratis).

Ongoing coverage for 2026. 8a-4p with evening call 4p-8a, and 24 hour call on the weekends.

Rates :

Orientation : $390 / hr

Hourly : $430 / hr

Nightly call : $2000

24hrs on call : $3800 (5hrs Gratis)

Holiday 24hrs call : $4500

Call back : $450 (Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed)

Holiday Call back : $500 / hr.

Average Callback Hours : 1.5 hours

• Aspiration / drainage procedures
• Percutaneous Needle Biopsies (Above & Below diaphragm, and Bone)
• Extractions (Biliary & Renal)
• Abscess drainage
• Thoracentesis
• Paracentesis
• Myelopgraphy
• Pain management procedures
• Perc. Transhepatic Choleangiogram
• Blood patch
• Joint / epidural injections
• Vertebroplasty
• Arthrograms
• Chest tube insertion
• Uterine artery embolization
• Liver Y90 / Tace
• Gastrostomy tube insertion
• Nephrostomy / ureteral stent insertion
• Renal fistulograms,
• Cryoablation

Preferred but not required : Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy

Deal breakers :

Client needs a provider with IR general experience.   Stroke capability would be secondary but must be able to perform the list of general IR procedures first.

Will the provider need to be willing to read diagnostics in between IR cases?  No

What is the avg # of procedures done in the 8 hr on-site day shift?  Varies from 10-15

How often should they expect call back during the weekday and weekend call shifts? VAries due to certain circumstances, normally only comes in for emergencies
