Registered Dietitian

MADO Healthcare is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our team and provide nutritional advice and counseling to our clients. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in dietetics, have excellent communication skills, and work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized nutrition plans based on the client's needs. The Registered Dietitian will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of clients and providing feedback on their progress. Responsibilities :

The Registered Dietitian develops and maintains food & nutrition organization and departmental goals, policies & procedures according to federal, state, county, local IDPH, SMHRF, & CARF inspection standards.

Establishes work tasks, job descriptions & standards of performance for dietary employees.

Conducts effective implementation and monitoring of departmental activities / quality controls to maintain / improve dietary performance.

Identifies and analyzes factors that affect food, labor, and operating costs.

Ensures purchasing procedures are followed to control quality and quantity of food purchased.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

1. EDUCATION :

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
• License eligible dietitian or Certified nutritionist preferred

Attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to work closely with clients

In-depth knowledge of different dietary allergies and restrictions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively to Kitchen staff and follow up to make sure these restrictions are followed.
