Seeking BE / BC Neonatologist for our level 2+ NICU near Albany, NY. This is a fulltime hospital-employed opportunity. There is also opportunity to moonlight at nearby level 3 NICU in Albany, NY.

The neonatologist will care for infants in the NICU and mother-baby unit, provide high-risk OB / neonatal consults, and attend high-risk deliveries. Bellevue s Level 2+ Special Care Nursery is one of only three in northeastern New York that provides these specialized services for infants over 30 weeks gestation in-need of non-surgical medical intervention and care.

Join the region s only inpatient facility dedicated to the care of women and infants a trusted name in women s health for three-quarters of a century. The OB / GYN services include breast care, surgery, gynecologic care and maternity, and features the region s first OB / GYN Hospitalist program to deliver enhanced care for pregnant women.

OPPORTUNITY

• 2,000 deliveries annually;
• 15 bed level 2B NICU;
• Average 190+ NICU admissions annually, (ADC 4.6)
• Mother-baby census, ADC 10
• 2 providers on weekdays dividing NICU, mother baby unit and LDR
• 15 day shifts, 8 out of house night calls (including 1 weekend) per month;
• Out of house call within 20-minute radius;
• Care for infants gestational age 30 weeks and older and birthweight greater than 1250 grams;
• Supervision and teaching of family medicine residents.
