to support our mission to defend and protect our national security
The
Computer Network Defense, Lead Associate
supports
the monitoring
, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats
impacting
enterprise networks. They
assist
with incident investigations, implement security controls, and collaborate with technical teams to enhance overall network defense posture
Responsibilities may include
The
Computer Network Defense, Lead Associate
will
be responsible for
the following, but not limited to :
Monitor network traffic, alerts, and logs to
identify
potential security incidents.
Assist
with the investigation and analysis of cybersecurity events.
Support incident response activities, including documentation and reporting.
Implement security controls and configurations to protect network resources.
Conduct basic threat hunting to
identify
indicators of compromise.
Maintain and update intrusion detection and prevention systems
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree
with
years of
experience
OR
Master's
degree
with
ye
ars of experience
US Citizenship
and a current active
TOP SECRET Clearance
with SCI
Must
comply with
Department of Defense (DoD) Manual 8140 requirements and
comply with
the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) for Work Role 511.
Experience monitoring network traffic and analyzing security alerts.
Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems, SIEM platforms, and log analysis tools.
Ability to support incident response activities including triage and documentation
Understanding of basic threat analysis and vulnerability identification techniques
Desired Qualifications :
Exposure to advanced persistent threat (APT) tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
Experience with basic scripting or automation for security monitoring tasks.
Knowledge of zero trust security principles

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
