FSQA Lead (Food Safety & Quality Assurance Lead) Shift : First Shift, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM (occasional weekends / overtime possible)

About the Role : We are seeking a hands-on FSQA Lead to oversee and coach a team of 4 FSQA Technicians in a cold storage food production environment. This is a new position created to provide leadership and ensure food safety and quality standards are met on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead, coach, and support FSQA Technicians on the production floor
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and food safety standards
  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance processes; authority to halt production if standards are not met
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager and escalate issues as needed
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring audit readiness and team alignment
  • Perform repetitive standing, bending, and lifting (10–35 lbs regularly, up to 45 lbs occasionally) in a cold (approx. 35°ree;F) and wet environment

Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead or supervisor in food production, warehousing, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Strong background in food safety / quality assurance (food industry experience highly preferred)
  • HACCP certification and familiarity with GMP, FDA, and ISO standards
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and UKG app (for time-off requests)
  • Ability to work in cold storage and perform physical tasks as described

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • $25.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Overtime available as needed (minimum 40 hours / week)
  • Annual bonus (company performance-based)
