Description

Performs aircraft ground handling and marshalling duties at Ardmore Airpark Fixed Base Operations (FBO). Additionally, hosts flight crew personnel and conducts fueling operations. Maintains facilities and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marshall aircraft into and out of ramp parking areas.
  • Secure aircraft for overnight requirements where necessary.
  • Assist flight crews and passengers with luggage, transportation, and special requests.
  • Perform professional fueling, cleaning and other aircraft requirements.
  • Maintains external fuel and grounding systems.
  • Observe all safety, environmental and general housekeeping rule, and policies.
  • Maintain and operate ground handling equipment.
  • Perform assigned office duties.
  • Maintain facilities inside / outside in a neat and orderly manner to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
  • Abide by all policies, regulations, procedures, and instructions.
  • Perform all duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer two (2) years of aircraft ground service equipment experience in the last five (5) years.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft office, internet software, e-mail, Management Information System for Aviation software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires a current driver's license.
