Hospital is looking for a Pediatrician to take newborn nursey call starting in November as well as Christmas coverage.

Credentialing timeframe - Temp privs available to meet quick start

• EMR - Cerner
• Will this still be 24-hour call like the other sites? Yes
• Avg Patients per day 3-4
• No inpatient pediatrics other than newborns in the nursery (0-5 per day). Yes, however they will need to round on any babies that have been readmitted at less than 30 days of age for hyperbilirubinemia and failure to thrive.
• How many deliveries a year 350-400
• Cadillac is a Level I nursery with a Level II L / D
• Nursery beds Cadillac is an LDRP unit, so the babies stay with their moms. Our nursery is Sick / Transitional only and can house up to 3 transitional newborns
• Possibility of newborn nursery call

Submission Requirements BC Pediatrics - Required

Clean history no MP or background issues - Required, no exceptions

NRP & PALS - Required

MI license at time or submission - Required, no exceptions

Providers need to be local-drive in (no flights) - Highly Preferred

Currently participates in MI Medicaid / CHAMPS - Required

COVID vaccination - Requiredd
