260-day position

Salary : $14.39 / hour base salary

Location : District

Available : 2025-2026 School Year

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
  • Positive employment history preferred
  • SLED / criminal background review required

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Job Status : At-will Employee

Responsible To : Director of Operations

Job Duties

  • Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district
  • Perform yard duties in order to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition (i.e. grass cutting, trimming shrubs, etc.)
  • Keeps grounds free from trash and rubbish
  • Maintain building and premises (i.e. sidewalks, driveways, play areas) clean and neat at all times
  • Report any necessary major repairs and / or damage of district property
  • Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned

    • Requirements

  • Classified Employment Application
  • Three (3) Classified Employment References (Included in Application and will be emailed to references)
  • Copy of 10 year Driving Record issued from SCDMV
