Building Q / A Inspector
Pay Range : $65,000 – $70,000 annually
Openings : 4 positions
Schedule : Night shift with flexibility required
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Quality Assurance Inspectors to join our client's team at NASA for a long-term construction project (18–24 months) focused primarily on roofing work. This is a hands-on field role responsible for ensuring all work meets project specifications, client requirements, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working night shifts with a flexible schedule to support project demands.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality control requirements.
Oversee contractor work to ensure proper execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Perform quality assurance surveillance on materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
Document and report inspection results, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with the Quality Manager.
Participate in quality-related training and uphold company standards of integrity and excellence.
Ensure compliance with all site-specific safety protocols, including fall protection requirements.
Qualifications
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control inspections of construction projects (roofing experience highly desired).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and collaborate across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Project a plus).
Commercial Building Inspector Certification preferred.
Experience with Government or NASA construction projects is a strong plus.
Additional Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident in order to obtain NASA Security / Badging clearance .
Must complete all required safety and awareness training.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
