• Position Summary The Human Resources Business Partner will lead and manage the daily functions of the HR department including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development.
• This individual will act as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted resource to employees across all levels.
• Key Responsibilities Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and culture Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and develop employee wellness initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Establish and manage performance review processes and support professional development programs.
• Responsible for building, creating, overseeing employee engagement programs Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation (HRIS, personnel files, etc.).
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
• Helping to build the culture of the business alongside the leadership team.
• Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, fostering transparent and open communication.
• Collaborate with leadership on company policies, procedures, and employee engagement strategies.
• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3 - 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Prestige PEO, JazzHR etc.).
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated success in creating inclusive and engaging workplace environments.
