Project Engineer I - Municipal
The Project Engineer I - Municipal will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, and management of municipal engineering projects. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of municipal projects including land development, transportation, water resources, and wastewater systems.
- Prepare construction documents and bid specifications for municipal projects.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and assist in preparing cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with municipal codes, regulations, and best practices in engineering.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred or in progress.1+ years of experience Water / WastewaterKnowledge of Civil 3D software and other civil engineering design tools.Familiarity with land development, transportation, and municipal engineering practices.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Benefits
