Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT . This role provides specialized telemetry care for adult patients across multiple med / surg units, ensuring safe and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients on telemetry, managing cardiac rhythms within unit protocol

Float to med / surg units as needed, including General Surgery, Medicine Oncology, Stroke, Cardiology, Ortho / Neuro / Trauma

Administer medications per unit policy (diuretics, anticoagulants, cardizem, dobutamine as applicable)

Escalate higher-level cardiac care (ionotropes, pressors) to PCU / ICU

Document all patient care accurately in Cerner EMR

Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

CT State RN License required

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of telemetry or med / surg experience

Ability to float across multiple units

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Assignment Details

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM, every other weekend

Patient Ratio : 1 : 7

Length : 13 weeks
