LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified General Surgery MD in Illinois!

About The Position

We are seeking an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois starting Nov 3, 2025. This role involves scheduled surgical procedures 1-2 days per week, with shifts beginning at 6 : 30am for prep and procedures starting at 7 : 30am, ending between 1pm and 3pm.

  • Schedule : 8 days per month, 1-2 days per week; 6 : 30am prep, procedures from 7 : 30am, end time 1pm-3pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform scheduled oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures as assigned
  • Manage an average caseload of 2-4 arches per day
  • Prepare for procedures and complete all related pre-operative protocols
  • Ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures
  • Additional Information

  • Must have completed an Oral Surgery residency program
  • Illinois state medical license required
  • Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery required
