Job ID# : 27696Galleria Client adding an Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join firm

Position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on commercial real estate and landlord / tenant law.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters related to real estate, including commercial properties and landlord / tenant disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop effective legal strategies.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on real estate and landlord / tenant issues.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, learning from their expertise.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including document production and review.
  • Attend client meetings and maintain clear communication throughout cases.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 1+ years litigation experience, with a preference for real estate and landlord / tenant law.
  • Knowledge of commercial and residential real estate laws and regulations.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
