City : Santa Rosa State : CA Start Date : Pending Privileges End Date : TBD Description : LOCUM- Pediatric Hospitalist NRP REQUIREDPLEASE ENSURE TO READ ALL REQUIRED PROCEDURES MARKED. Looking for 1 provider to coverage for 4-7 shifts per month. 24 hour shifts, 8am -8am, in-house coverage. -Responsibilities include : attendance and high risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, well baby rounding, NICU coverage at night, ED consults. Pediatric admissions on a case-by-case basis.

- Streamlined transfer process through UCSFPlease note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.oTypical privileging timeline is 90 days oOnce the file is completed, we can look at temporary privilege eligibility. oAll HBS specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.oGaps greater than 3 months must be explained.oInclude current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties. Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement) : NOT reimbursed : oMileage from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.oRide share (Lyft / Uber / etc.) and / or taxi from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.WILL be reimbursed : oAirport parking at provider s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.oInsurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed.oRide share (Lyft / Uber / etc.) and / or taxi from destination airport to hotel / lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital / clinic, and return trips. 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
