Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) with proven experience in commercial ground-up construction. The ideal candidate has previously worked for a general contractor or has comparable experience managing large-scale commercial projects. This person will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality and safety.

What You'll Do :

• Assist Project Manager with daily project operations from preconstruction through closeout
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Track project schedules and help keep teams on target with deadlines
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain project flow
• Monitor cost control, budgets, and job cost reporting
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and participate in site walks
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders
• Support punch list creation and project closeout efforts
