Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgery - Neurosurgery in Michigan

We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Nov 3, 2025. This full-time opportunity offers 4-5 days per week with day shifts (7a-3 : 30p or 7a-5 : 30p), working in a trauma center and covering a broad range of neurosurgical cases. Job Details Location : Michigan Facility Type : Trauma Center Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 90 days Provider Type Needed : Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 4-5 days per week, shifts from 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm or 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm Responsibilities and Duties Assist in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal surgeries Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms to support diagnosis and treatment planning Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care for patients in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings Additional Information Board certification required (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) Active Michigan license required Minimum two years of experience as a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner Neurosurgery OR experience required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
