Description
The Associate Financial Advisor is mentored by a Financial Advisor while assisting members, clients, and prospects with information, products and procedures to implement an investment program. This position is considered an entry level role and part of a defined career path toward becoming a Financial Advisor.

Job Duties
- Under the direct guidance of a Financial Advisor :
Support in gathering client information for constructing and updating financial plans, pre & post meetings
Assist with portfolio monitoring and asset allocation reviews at the model levelAssist in preparing client reports and investment model updatesTrack new money to portfolios & systematic DCA, restricted funds & model customizationsAttend and assist in client meetingsTrack bond maturities, client fund restrictions, and systematic contributionsLearn firm processes, compliance, and technology systemsAnswer emails & calls at mentoring Advisor's requestAssist in drafting & communicating market commentary and investment communicationsConduct research and support 529 and education planning, along with the completion of the Education Planning course through AICPA - CIMAPerform administrative tasks, as neededConduct research & support special projects, as neededEssential Skills :
Minimum 5 years professional experience in an administrative or client facing capacity, preferably related to the financial industry or successfully completed an Addison Avenue Financial Advisor internship assignment.Strong interest in financial planning and investment managementHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMinimum Education : High School DiplomaCertification / License : Securities Industry Essentials Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health licenses within first 90 daysLocation : Houston Experience Center and Alpharetta Addison Office (This position will be based in Houston and will be expected to travel to Alpharetta on a regular basis )
Target Compensation for Texas / Georgia : $31.25 to $40.87 / hour + annual bonus
