Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Jackson, MS . As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more.

What You'll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any observations during patrols.Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.Remain alert for unusual activity or potential threats, and report findings to the appropriate Allied Universal management and / or client contacts.Perform duties in accordance with established Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as client-specific guidelines.Provide visible presence to help deter potential criminal activity and promote a sense of security-related awareness within the location.What We're Looking For

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military experience.Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us
