  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (October 20, 2025 – January 19, 2026)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (13 beds, daily census of 39)\n
  • Nursing Shifts : Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days : 7 : 30am–7 : 30pm; Nights : 7 : 00pm–7 : 00am)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Coverage : Required (every other weekend)\n
  • On-Site Position \n
  • Orientation : 12 hours\n
  • Scrubs : Navy\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience\n
  • Active Pennsylvania or compact RN license (must be in hand)\n
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (CPI, NRP, CCM preferred)\n
  • Proficiency with Cerner charting system\n
  • Ability to provide emergency nursing care for all age groups : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics\n
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred\n
  • Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process upon contract signing\n
  • Lab work required within 72 hours of contract signing\n
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome!\n

    • \n\nER RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced hospital environment\n
  • Perform triage, patient assessment, and ongoing monitoring\n
  • Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, and blood products\n
  • Manage acute medical and psychiatric emergencies : trauma, stroke, drug overdose, violent behavior\n
  • Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage patients with central lines, ventilators, CPAP / BiPAP, and IV vasopressors\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR\n
  • Participate in weekend and rotating shifts as scheduled\n
