General Manager

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

Principal responsibilities include :

  • Ensuring the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Providing leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness.
  • Ensuring the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines.
  • Coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Accountable for the proper staffing of the restaurant.
  • Accountable for the continuous training and development of the restaurant Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
  • Actively participating in local restaurant marketing.
  • Implementing and promoting all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Ensuring all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Maintaining awareness and participation in community affairs.
  • Representing Firehouse Subs in a professional manner.
  • Communicating effectively to the GM / Owner any issues that may impact the business.
  • Maintaining restaurant equipment in working order.
  • Able to work on feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Owner.
