Plant Manager
Location : Lexington, NC
Pay : $130k-$140k base + 10% annual bonus
Position Overview
The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This role is responsible for leading the manufacturing team, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant
- Manage production schedules to meet customer demands
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitor plant performance and develop strategies for improvement
- Lead and mentor the manufacturing team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage P&L for the plant, ensuring cost-effective operations
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and ISO standards
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
- Utilize ERP systems for effective resource management and reporting
- Reporting to the Global VP of Operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fieldProven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar managerial roleStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes and standardsExperience with P&L management and budget oversightFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement practicesKnowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO standardsExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits
