About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor with strong experience in the automotive industry, ideally working directly with major OEMs. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing environment with expertise in metal stamping, blanking, and welding
The Quality Supervisor will report directly to the Quality Manager and play a key role in ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction across quality functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and track all non-quality costs.
- Lead and follow up on supplier quality audits.
- Define corrective actions using 5P methodology ; validate root causes and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit customer-related non-conformance reports and provide timely updates.
- Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities and ensure PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions are completed on time.
- Manage and track DMRs (Defective Material Reports) and supplier performance.
- Stop any process or activity to prevent non-conformity in compliance with quality system standards (legal, statutory, or product-related).
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to Quality Assurance.
- Monitor and report on Quality Assurance KPIs.
- Oversee suppliers' quality performance and manage follow-up on supplier concerns.
- Coordinate laboratory and metrology activities.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience , with at least 3 years in automotive metal stamping, blanking, and welding.Strong background in Quality AssuranceProven experience interfacing with OEM customers.High level of leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).Knowledge of :APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, QSA, GD&TISO / IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA 6Metrology and lab analysis is highly desirable.Company Description : Welding and Stamping Manufacturing Company
