Responsibilities Work in a radiology department serving a Level 1 Trauma patient population Day shift schedule of 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week Includes backup call rotation Duties include operating portable radiographic equipment and C-arm in patient rooms, intensive care, and surgery Performs a variety of technical radiologic procedures and supports fluoroscopic and / or invasive procedures Utilizes Epic EMR; Epic charting experience required Responsible for positioning patients, adjusting equipment, ensuring proper immobilization, and applying radiation safety measures Assists radiologists with procedures and maintains room and equipment readiness Takes thorough patient histories and documents allergic reactions in accordance with policy May provide instruction to students in general procedures Required to maintain safe and clean work environment in compliance with regulations RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract No local candidates accepted—must live more than 50 miles from the facility Contingent workers may not be on assignment at the facility for more than 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returning Requirements Active ARRT (R), BLS (AHA), and Illinois IEMA Radiography licenses required; license required if applicable Associate’s degree in related field or certificate in Radiologic Technology required Minimum of 1 year recent radiology experience Demonstrated Epic EMR charting experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Ability to operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including portable and C-arm devices Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618755.
