About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS preferred; TNCC and CPI preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years current experience in a similar emergency department setting
• Previous charge experience
• Experience with patient ratio management
• Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Cerner

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse to provide care in an emergency department setting.

The nurse will work night shifts and be responsible for managing a patient load of 4-5 patients.

The role includes performing assessments, administering medications, and communicating with interdisciplinary teams.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage various patient conditions, including but not limited to sepsis, respiratory failure, and trauma events.

Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is preferred.

The nurse will work with a team that includes various support services such as physical therapy and respiratory services.

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

This position may require floating to other areas within the facility based on staffing needs.

Certification renewals should be ensured to remain current within the required timeframes.
