Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients in the comfort of their own homes? We are seeking a full-time Home Health PTA to join our team in Brenham, where you'll assist in improving patients' mobility and enhancing their quality of life through personalized care.
Role Responsibilities :
- Implement care plans to improve patients' physical abilities, following the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
- Conduct follow-up visits and administer manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises.
- Assist patients in using assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and prosthetics.
- Instruct patients on wellness and health maintenance, promoting an understanding of therapeutic regimens.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Travel to patients homes as needed, driving is required for this position.
Qualifications :
Associate's degree in physical therapy.Minimum of one year of experience in home health as a physical therapist.Active state license to practice as a physical therapist assistant, in compliance with professional standards.Valid CPR certification.Licensed driver with the ability to travel to various locationsWhy is This a Great Opportunity :
