Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.

Job Summary : The Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (SUIOP) helps individuals learn how to manage life issues and day-to-day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs. Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks, and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Conducting intensive outpatient (IOP) groups, individual counseling, and psychoeducation.
• Follow established guidelines in Addictive Disease Program Plan.
• Individual counseling as clinically indicated.
• Complete Behavioral Health Assessments (BHA's) / Service Plan Development (SPD's), and all other supporting assessments, including UDS, & documentation for individuals affiliated with Haralson IOP.
• Follow-up calls with referrals and participation in Treatment / consultation / clinical team meetings.
• Complete monthly Treatment Plan reviews and discharge / transition person's served, as clinically indicated.
• Intensive Outpatient Program clinician conducting monthly audits for IOP staff. (As Needed)
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Addictive Disease Operations, AD Regional Manager(s), as needed to meet expanding needs of individuals served.
