Sodexo Government Services has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Manager 2 to be part of a growing account at the Cherry Point Mess Hall. This location is near the Inter-Coastal Waterway and not far from Atlantic and Emerald Isle beaches. What You'll Do
- Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for inventory management and procurement operations of food and supplies to ensure account retention.
- Directs daily operations of inventory and procurement operations of food and supplies to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines.
- Provides input to estimate food consumption in order to procure appropriate amount of supplies.
- Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g., labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
- Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardous materials and / or waste.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo and client policies and procedures (for quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).

What You Bring
