Description :

Copeland Buhl is looking to add a Staff Accountant to our Tax Service Line.

As a Staff Accountant you will be responsible for organizing and driving client deliverables as part of a team. Additionally, you will develop strong technical abilities to ensure thorough compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft business and individual tax returns in a variety of industries.
  • Effectively complete projects and assigned tasks, not limited to, trial balance preparation, tax returns, and creation of tax planning strategies.
  • Apply education and firm training to provide practical solutions.
  • Stay up to date on latest firm standards and industry trends.
  • Own assigned tasks and keep client managers informed of progress and problems.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • CCH Axcess Suite experience.

    • Benefits :

  • Hourly pay (Time and a half over 40 hours)
