Our company is looking for a Regional Nurse Consultant to join our team.
As a Regional Clinical Director / Regional Nurse Consultant, you will manage and ensure clinical and regulatory compliance within centers.
Your role will include developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
You will also monitor and report on 5-Star outcomes, Best Practices, Standards of care, Risk Management, and other quality-related measures.
Work directly with Administrators, DONs, and other stakeholders to develop standard operating procedures and action plans and educate staff.

Responsibilities :
- Auditing facility documentation and makes recommendations for improvement
- Revising protocols as needed to keep pace with emerging clinical best practices
- Monitoring clinical advancements within the industry
- Managing nursing competency validation programs
- Providing clinical guidance to ensure optimal quality of care in the region
- Participating in the quality assurance process
- Providing clinical training and education
- Implementing protocols to keep up with current innovations
- ensuring optimal reimbursement rates in assigned facilities
- Developing policies to mitigate risk
- Conducting operational reviews to assess regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and quality improvement opportunities
- Maintaining impeccable regulatory compliance in the region
- Communicating effectively with staff, doctors, and corporate leadership, utilizing diplomacy and discretion
- ensuring quality clinical outcomes in assigned regions
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing a plus.RN Licensure in the state of LA required5+ years of nurse management experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing center required2+ years experience as a Director of Nursing, Clinical Director, or Regional Nurse Consultant in a SNF / LTC setting requiredPrior LTC or SNF experience in the state of La. requiredPrior clinical quality, performance and process improvement, regulatory and compliance, and risk management experience are requiredMust be PC proficient with the ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software
