Overview

Engineering Manager / SaaS / Onsite role at Motion Recruitment is open. A mission-driven software company in the public sector is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of developers across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Java and web services who has fully transitioned into a hands-off leadership position. You'll be responsible for agile practices, supporting team growth, and ensuring consistent, high quality software delivery. This is a great opportunity to step into a strategic role at a stable and growing organization. This is a full-time role, onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers across multiple projects.
  • Own agile practices, support team growth, and ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery.
  • 100% hands-off management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Engineering Manager
  • Technical background Java and web services
  • Strong command of agile methodologies
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineers
  • Experience training teams
  • Government tech or SaaS experience

    • Employment details

    This is a full-time role, five days onsite.
