Aircraft Technical Inspector (AH-64), Marana, AZ
The AH-64 Aircraft QC Technical Inspector II (AH-64 QC TI 2) inspects the repair and modification of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
Responsibilities include :
- Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections.
- Inspects and evaluates repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, structural components, and engines.
- Inspects and evaluates maintenance of aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
- Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions.
- Applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.
- Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
- Ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration.
- Provides lower-level technicians guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is Required.Valid (FAA) A&P CertificateFive (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience on the AH-64, with a minimum of one (1) year experience inspecting AH-64 (MDS) Mission Design Series aircraft assigned is Required.A valid and current (FAA) 'IA' Inspection Authorization is strongly preferred, with One (1) year experience as an AH-64 QC TI.US Citizenship is Required to obtain the NAC-I T1 Clearance and for facility access.Clearance Requirements :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials / authorization.
