As a Security Professional - Education Patrols Part-Time in Pleasantville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide attentive customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.71 - $18.71 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PMWed 04 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations and report incidents or unusual circumstances according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with campus staff and / or law enforcement as appropriate to support a positive environment at the education location.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on duty, adapting to changing conditions at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
