This position will act as a problem solver where the primary initiative is to resolve customer technical inquiries. Working closely with the Safran Services Engineering team, they will support component redesign initiatives to improve product robustness based on product performance in service. They will draft various documents including engineering change notices, test plans and test reports. The position will require interfacing with multiple departments to achieve the expeditious resolution of daily challenges.

Job Requirements

• Proactively investigates opportunities for product improvements based on service reports and implements improvements to documentation including drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Reacts quickly to daily challenges and questions presented by internal and external customers.
• Generates test plans, reports and analyses in support of service difficulty reports.
• Generates change notices, Technical Concurrence Notifications and related engineering documentation.
• Supports scheduled visits to airline customers.
• Acts as a problem solver to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
