Job Title
The position involves recruiting program participants, host sites, and mentors for a workforce development program. It ensures that training objectives are met and program participants are placed at host sites. The role also functions as the liaison between schools, students, and host sites to create strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties :
- Managing program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the program and organization.
- Developing new workforce development programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Recruiting program participants, host sites, and mentors for workforce development programs.
- Functioning as the liaison between schools, students, and host sites to create strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Creating, managing, and ensuring that goals are met, including implementing and approved changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Ensuring that training objectives are met and program participants are placed at host sites.
- Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify and implement areas for improvement.
- Tracking grant outcomes and submitting grant reports.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status, including analyzing program risks.
- Representing the program and organization on internal and external committees.
- Attending and participating in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development.
- Following established policies and procedures including but not limited to : Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures, safety policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Amount of Travel Required : up to 15%
Qualifications
Education : Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree Preferred.
Experience : 3 year experience working with any of the following - minors, students, customer service, workforce, student programs.
Computer Skills : Efficient computer knowledge and use of Microsoft products, word processing, spreadsheets, database systems, and email.
