The resources required for this project along with the necessary skills and experiences :

Duties : Under general supervision, is responsible for development of Regional Radio Center web applications including collaborating on a radio inventory project. Develops web applications using ASP, Java, C#, and TSQL or other programming languages as needed. Develops / collaborates on web applications to existing SQL database. Receives and documents routine requests for application features. Participates in meetings for web development and feature planning. Uses online and subscription resources to debug applications as needed. Provides guidance, tutorials, or assistance to other developers as needed. Provides advice to management as needed concerning development or application feasibility. Schedule is 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. (Monday-Friday). Subject to 24 hours on-call schedule.

Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Mathematics, or closely related field and three years of work experience with software development is required OR an equivalent combination of computer / technical coursework and stated experience may be substituted for preferred.

Skills : Strong development skills in C#, SQL, and database applications are required. A thorough knowledge of Visual Studio.net and Microsoft Access Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills are a must.
